Texas Tech Alumni local chapters do not collect dues directly, so your membership to the National Chapter will directly benefit Austin area scholarship recipients and help us continue to provide great events here in Austin.     Chapter Events
    As a member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association, you will receive invitations to meetings and social events that will be taking place right here in Austin.
    Online Communications
    For continuous updates of our calendar and to stay up-to-date on all local Texas Tech events, follow us on Facebook and Twitter. For state-wide Texas Tech events, visit us online at www.TexasTechAlumni.org. By registering online, you will receive the Texas Tech Today, the university's monthly e-newsletter, with up-to-date news on the association, university and athletics.
    Texas Techsan Magazine
    All Alumni Association members receive the Texas Techsan magazine six times annually. The magazine features alumni and provides in-depth coverage of Texas Tech University news, events and sports.
    Car Rentals
    Association members receive up to a 10 percent discount on car rentals from Avis and Hertz.
    Frazier Alumni Pavilion
    The Frazier Alumni Pavilion is the center of gameday activity in Lubbock for members of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. Don't miss this opportunity to meet friends before watching the Red Raiders battle on the gridiron. Watch the biggest games of the day on one of our many televisions while also enjoying food and beverages in our climate-controlled venue.
    Insurance Programs
    Through the association, many different types of insurance programs are offered. Short-term health, life, auto and home insurance are all available through one of the Alumni Association's partners. For rate information, to establish coverage and/or to gather more information, visit American Insurance Administrators or Liberty Mutual.
    Kaplan Test Prep
    Through a partnership with Kaplan Test Prep, members of the Texas Tech Alumni Association and their immediate families receive a $100 discount off the retail course price on any of the following Kaplan courses: GRE (graduate school), GMAT (business school), LSAT (law school), MCAT (medical schools), DAT (dental school), OAT (optometry school), PCAT (pharmacy school), SAT and ACT only. The discount applies only to classroom courses and is not valid with any other special discount or offering.
    Texas Tech Federal Credit Union
    Your membership in the Texas Tech Alumni Association allows you to take advantage of all the products and services provided by the Texas Tech Federal Credit Union.
    Travel Programs
    Throughout the year, the association sponsors various travel opportunities for Texas Tech alumni and friends. Whether you prefer an Alaskan cruise or a trip to the Caribbean, we offer many destinations for that 'once in a lifetime' vacation.
